Line Removal
In situations when time is of importance, Surfprep's bobcat mounted grinders can carry out line removal rapidly.

Concrete Pillar Milling
Here we can see what the concrete retaining pillar looked like after a little jack hammering and prior to milling.

Line Removal
Whether you're removing water-borne painted markings, cold-applied plastic markings or thermo-plastic markings, our grinders take them off with ease, leaving only a narrow trail of debris in their path.

Line Removal
To keep the process moving efficiently we use road sweepers for rapid clean-up. Because only a fine water spray is used for dust suppression, new line marking can be carried out sooner after the removal process is complete.

Line Removal
Once the road sweeper has passed over the removed line the surface is immediately ready for repainting.

Line Removal
Full line removal has been carried out, leaving nothing more than minor markings on the road surface. The grinding process largely minimises shadowing and removed lines are a lot less visible in low light situations and wet weather.

Line Removal
This is the effect of water-blasting on the same painted lines, on the same surface - compare this to the previous picture!

Line Removal
One week later, the road has been repainted and the removed lines are barely visible.

Concrete Pillar Milling
In this picture we see one of Surfpreps specialized concrete mills starting to trim the concrete pillar. Our mills range in width from 150mm-600mm.

Concrete Pillar Milling
Our mills are able to trim up to 40mm off this concrete pillar per pass. On softer materials we can cut as much as 150mm per pass.

Concrete Pillar Milling
Milling is not always exact in these circumstances but it's not bad and a lot of material can be removed very rapidly.

Concrete Pillar Milling
This close up shows the very textured finish left after milling, ideal for adhering new coating to e.g. shotcrete.

Concrete Pillar Milling
This is the finished product. We have removed up to 100mm of concrete. The pillar is now ready for the next process - shotcrete panels.
